Description

Denis Mortet, Clos Vougeot Vintage:2009 A wine of finesse Zaca Mesa Vineyard Viognier & Rousanne A wine of finesse with the result that the wine is not at all overly oaky The mid palate of the larger scaled flavors is supple and not especially dense though the austere finale tightens up substantially Noticeable wood fights a bit with the very earthy mix of upper and lower register aromas that include red currant
